Hi! I’m a California native that spent many years living elsewhere [Jackson (MS), Honolulu, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, and Warren (just outside Detroit)] and have recently landed back in California (this time northern). I am a wife of over 13 years to my wonderful husband. I am a registered nurse, but currently a full-time stay at home Momma (something I vehemently opposed, but now not only enjoy but dread when I will return to work) to 2 wonderful boys.
My husband (who often gets referred to as one of my boys) is a physician who works long hours, so the bulk of parenting falls on my shoulders. We plan on home-schooling so that will mostly be my responsibility as well.
Our oldest son, Parker, is about to turn 4, and is a active introvert with obsessive tendencies and is therefore wonderful and challenging.. Our new arrival and youngest son is Andrew, who is so far is proving to be pretty laid back.
We are very active outdoorsy people – kayaking, hiking, or indoor rock climbing (I’m too chicken to do this outdoors), and stand up paddle boarding are my preferred forms of exercising.
We also enjoy camping (with our 5th wheel) and sailing. We anticipate buying 5 acres of land and building our home in the near future. We lived for 3 months in our 5th wheel at one point (voluntarily when Parker was 2.5 years old) and plan on doing that again while we build. We have no family near us (closest is 2hrs away) so we spend a lot of my husband’s free time traveling. Our family is complete and we look forward to many adventures ahead!

I am the lucky momma of two fabulous wee men [Aubrey-2 Rhys-4mo]. I am a mostly stay at home mom, with the occasional “break” working part time in a secure juvenile detention facility. In my spare time [ha ha!] I love to cook, bake, craft, read, workout, and roam Target. My husband and I have been married for almost 4 years and recently bought our first home-a whole 1400 blank sq feet to finally complete some long-pinned Pinterest projects in!! (It literally needed every surface changed. And our baby decided to arrive early, mid-reno! Best laid plans and all that!) My husband is originally from Belfast, Northern Ireland, which has allowed for some exciting and beautiful travel together. We have taken our oldest to Belfast 3 times already (and London once), and look forward to much more adventure with both boys in the future. Nothing like seeing the world through your children’s eyes!

Born and Raised in suburban Lawrenceville, NJ, and no, New Jersey is not what you think it is! Our motto is “The Garden State” for good reason. Went to Skidmore College and graduated in 2005. Moved to the “big city” with my freshman year college roomie after school. The following year, I met the love on my life on Match.com. We told everyone we randomly met until it was socially acceptable to date online 😉 Engaged after two years of meeting, married in three. We lived together in midtown Manhattan for three years until we purchased our first home in Bergen County, NJ (Jersey has a way of making you return). We had our first child, James, on July 20, 2013. Couldn’t be more thrilled to be parents to this perfect little man. I’ve continued to work full time managing equity incentive programs and negotiating agreements in the private equity industry while being a wife, mother, sister, athlete, chef and overall do-gooder.
We have always been a very active couple. Our honeymoon took us bushwhacking through the tropics of Fiji, so you can only imagine some of the wacky things we have done! I personally have always been a healthy eating and fitness enthusiast. I LOVE weightlifting and running. Kept both up all throughout pregnancy. Even ran two half marathons with little James in my belly! I have well over 250 cookbooks, so that should tell you a little something about my obsession. Looking forward to sharing my journey with everyone 🙂

I am a mommy to a beautiful little girl named Alison! She was born in late August, 2013. I am married to a wonderful man named Rick. I am a certified Spanish teacher in Pennsylvania and also teach Latin. I ran track and coached until the birth of my daughter. I hope to get back into coaching eventually. Rick and I enjoy traveling, hiking, rock climbing (indoor and outdoor) – although I haven’t started climbing again yet, and we are big sports fans. Unfortunately, we do not root for the same teams. I am a Philadelphia fan. He is a Pittsburgh fan. We are trying to stay ‘us’ and figure out this parenting thing together!

I am a mother to two beautiful children. My son is 21 months and my daughter is 3 months. I thoroughly enjoy stress and sleeplessness, so hubby and I opted for two under 2. 😉 I love to stay physically active and my workouts range from running to kickboxing to having a dance party in the living room to Raffi. I have recently discovered a love for baking… and that kind of makes me nervous!

I am a mother to two beautiful little girls, Lucy and Norah. We want a big family and are considering adoption in the future. Currently I stay at home, which I never envisioned for myself. Some days I love it and other days I want to rip my hair out. We are expats living abroad and I couldn’t imagine my life without my girls. I love to workout, read, craft, bake, and walk. My dream is to go on walking tours in Scotland and Ireland someday.
